Through which the poetry of love is expressed

How often love between two people begins with the exchange of a look! They see each other from a distance, and with the first look that passes between them they experience pure joy, like drinking crystal-clear water flowing down from the mountain tops. It is only afterwards, when they try to get close so as to have other exchanges, that things start to become complicated and less clear. You will say it is impossible to be satisfied with just gazing at each other. Yes, of course, most love affairs bear that out. But show me a couple that does not think back nostalgically to the first looks they exchanged, to their discovery of that infinitely poetic world.
