Worlds, physical and spiritual

No longer seeing them in opposition or separating them

Why is spirituality a science? Because it is based on laws that rule the life of the psyche. Scientists too must recognize its legitimacy: since spiritual life is subject to laws, there has to be a science of spiritual life. So I invite them to broaden their field of investigation: they will gradually discover that their own findings reinforce the truth of what has been taught by initiates. As long as humans set the physical world against the spiritual world and keep the two separate, any advances made in the sciences will leave them dissatisfied, because these advances remain external. Of course, they provide humans with the means to act on matter, but you can have all the means available for acting on matter and still feel empty inside: scientific and technical discoveries are incapable of nourishing the soul and spirit. Spiritual work is certainly a long-term undertaking, and its results are slow to materialize. But those who embark on this work link themselves each day to the living world of principles; they discover meaning, and this meaning brings them fulfilment.
