Waiting
An inner state that makes us receptive to heavenly visits

Waiting… disciples of a spiritual teaching learn to cultivate waiting, this inner state that keeps them awake. And so, when beings of light come to visit them, they will be ready to immediately open the doors of their soul to them. This attitude of anticipation alone enables them to perceive the events of the invisible world, the currents that flow through it, and the presences that bring them their blessings. You might say that you have never seen these presences. But is it really necessary to see them? You can feel them, and that is so much more important. If your heart and soul do not feel the revelations heavenly beings bring you, seeing them won't help very much.
If you are waiting to receive a light or blessings from heaven, don't ever be impatient. Instead, learn to cultivate waiting, because at any moment you might receive warning, information, enlightenment, nourishment. For it is thanks to waiting that your subtle centres are always kept awake. In this way, you will develop a kind of sensor that alerts you to the arrival of a messenger, a heavenly visitor.
