Favour the realization of our thoughts and feelings

The words we say always express our thoughts, feelings and desires. These thoughts, feelings and desires first create kinds of diagrams and lines of force in the invisible, around which particles of matter arrange themselves according to the words we utter. This is why the spoken word plays an important role in their realization.
Take for example the image of a rifle. Our speech represents the barrel of the rifle; and our thoughts, desires and plans represent the gunpowder. The barrel directs, and the gunpowder gives power. To obtain results we must have powerful thoughts, feelings and desires, and then, through what we say, direct them in the way we desire. Psychic energy and speech both have a role to play, and it is wise to remember this in spiritual practice.
