A living cell contains infinite possibilities for the future

Everything exists within a single cell. As in a seed, all that will one day appear and take shape is already there contained as potential. Our organs and our five senses all developed in this way, and still more will appear in the future. Given that the physical body is created in the image of the other subtler bodies, and that we have five senses on the physical plane, this means that we also have five senses both on the astral plane and on the mental plane.
So, once human beings become fully developed, their ability to see, feel, hear, taste, act and move will be astounding. And that is what life is about. A living being, a living cell, or even a simple microorganism contains infinite possibilities, but it takes thousands of years for this potential to blossom. This is the mystery, the splendour of life.
