Evil
Project light to drive out evil

We have been told that we should not struggle against evil, and many people do not understand what this means. It means that we must not confront evil on its own turf, for that is where it is strongest, and we would inevitably be defeated. But if we succeed in rising above evil, and raining down fire and lightning from above, it will flee!
Human beings possess an extremely strong inner fortress that is superbly equipped to withstand attacks. This fortress is the realm of light. Who is to prevent you from putting evil to flight by shining a light on it? Why stand there doing nothing? When people let themselves go, the forces of darkness rejoice, saying ‘What a wonderful opportunity to feast!’ This is how some people allow themselves to be devoured by dark spirits. When this darkness draws near, true disciples defend themselves by projecting light, and this light drives out the darkness.
