Living exclusively on the love expressed by a look

When two people begin to fall in love, they are content at first to express themselves with a look: then they are drinking water from the high peaks for their love is crystalline and pure. There are no better exchanges than those made with a look.
It is rare, but sometimes we encounter a look that is not of this earth, a divine look replete with a thousand things so subtle that even the greatest poet could not convey what it holds. Of course, for those who prefer concrete, tangible, coarse pleasures, a look means nothing, for they can neither touch it nor hold it in their hands. But there are those for whom a gaze is enough. We can live exclusively on the love such a look expresses.
