Likes and dislikes have a physical origin and are not at all spiritual

You feel justified in behaving according to your instinctive likes and dislikes. Well no, for in this way you are fuelling the conflicts around you, and wallowing on the lower levels of the astral plane. Do not believe, as so many do, that your feelings of affinity or antipathy stem from your intuition and clairvoyance about the people concerned.
No, these attractions or repulsions have a physical or biological origin, and are not at all spiritual. In the structure of their physical bodies or their faces, people have elements which are in affinity or in opposition to certain elements in your own biological make-up. This is why you feel attracted or repulsed by others. In fact, if you think about the question and take the trouble to examine it, you will probably find serious shortcomings in some of the people whom you find particularly endearing, and some very fine qualities and virtues in those for whom you feel a certain antipathy.
