According to the alchemists, gold is sunlight that has been condensed

Every morning at sunrise we collect a few more specks of gold. Yes, we are prospecting for gold because we too want to become rich. But instead of sifting sand from a riverbed, we turn to the sun and try to capture its light and condense it into life, strength and inspiration.
The alchemists who studied the question in depth used to say that gold was sunlight that had been condensed in the bowels of the earth. Some of them were even able to reverse this process of condensation and work back from physical gold until they found all the light, heat and life of the sun. Using certain methods, they succeeded in drawing and absorbing from a strip of gold all the energies the sun had condensed in it over thousands of years. We still do not know how much power there is in a gram of gold!
