Faith and love
The keys that open all doors

True disciples are those who know that they need a master for only one reason: to stimulate and inspire them on the right path. And once they have found their master, they never doubt or oppose him, they never demand anything of him. Often, a master will barely speak or pay attention to a disciple, but it is enough for disciples to know that their master exists; they are happy and make progress because they love and believe in him and because the bond between them is always there. Even if they are in distress, destitute, sick or dying, they are comforted and consoled just by the thought that their master exists, for the image they hold of him in their minds and hearts is all-powerful. It is this inner master who opens all doors to them.
You will not evolve simply by being in the presence of a master. We can go to the sunrise and contemplate springs, yet remain the same. Why? Because we are closed. In order to open up, we need faith and love. Faith and love are the keys that open all doors.
