Summit

Symbolically, a vital centre of the purest energies

We should not think of a summit simply as a place that is higher the rest. Symbolically, every summit is a vital centre of the purest and most penetrating energies. This is why it commands the respect of all living creatures. Omnipotence—the omnipotence of the spirit—resides at the summit. Only the powers of the summit can command all the beings of the different realms of nature to help and protect us.
There is no harm, of course, in focusing your attention on different objects of the physical, astral or mental planes. If these objects are pure and luminous, you will always get some benefit from them, but not as much as when you strive to reach the summit, the quintessence that governs everything. To attain the summit is to attain the nexus of the forces on which everything depends.*
