Concentrate on a single idea to develop phenomenal power

If you have too much on your minds and want to achieve several goals at once, you are pulled in every direction and drained of energy. Whereas, if you manage to concentrate on a single idea or wish, all your energies will converge towards this one goal and you will develop phenomenal power. When a country is at war, if it has to deploy its troops along several fronts, its fighting forces are spread thin and their efforts are much less effective than if they were concentrated in one place. This is so obvious and easy to understand!
Take a magnifying glass and use it to focus the sun’s rays on one spot and you can set everything on fire. But if the rays of sunlight are scattered, you can hold that magnifying glass in the same position for years and nothing will happen. Only concentration, whether of fire, light, thought, feeling or action, can produce real power.*
