Reconciling our individual life with collective life

We are all individual beings, each with our own life. Yet we are not alone, we are part of a whole, and the issue we face is how to reconcile the demands of our individual life with those of collective life.
Each individual is unique: Cosmic Intelligence has created this diversity of creatures, and we must not try to bring them all to the same level, or attempt to make them identical. Everyone has the right to express their differences, their originality as long as they are in tune with the whole, as in an orchestra. There are so many differences between the shape, material and sound of the violin, cello, piano, oboe, flute, harp, trumpet, cymbals and bass drum! But from this diversity, perfect harmony is born.*
