Sun

There is no higher ideal than to become like the sun

Those whose only ambition is to give as the sun gives and to bring light and warmth to others, touch the farthest reaches of space with their thoughts and feelings. In doing so, they meet a host of creatures who they greet and by whom they are greeted in return. For this is what true life is: an uninterrupted communication with millions of beings.
To become like the sun… there is no higher ideal than this. Try to nurture this ideal so that it fills you so completely that your whole being is set ablaze and illuminated by it. Only this high ideal can awaken the seeds of all that is best in you. With no insistence on your part, without your even thinking about it, you will begin to manifest the very best dispositions. The only truth worth seeking is the spiritual sun: as soon as it shines within us, it makes all our good qualities blossom, just as the physical sun makes life burst into bloom throughout nature.*
