Out-of-body experience

Here is a safe exercise

Do not experiment with the risky practices suggested in all sorts of books about occult science, for although they claim to give access to the invisible world, they will only lead you down a dangerous path. If, one day, you would like to leave your body, to have an out-of-body experience, here is an exercise that is quite safe.
For example, on those mornings when a grey or misty sky makes you feel a little drowsy, instead of trying to concentrate and meditate (which would be pointless, as the conditions are not right and you will not succeed), try to still your thoughts completely. Allow your soul to extend throughout space, imagining that it joins the Universal Soul and fuses with it; when your soul returns, it will bring back images of the regions it has contemplated. But have no illusions: the quality of what you see depends on you, on the nature and quality of your desires, feelings and thoughts. So, if you wish to be in contact with the invisible world, start by purifying your inner world.*
