Pentecost
The descent of the holy spirit upon the apostles
June 8th 2025
In the Acts of the Apostles it is said that, on the day of the Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles in the form of tongues of fire. This descent of the Holy Spirit is actually a symbol that is found in all religions in one form or another. Presented as such, we might believe the Holy Spirit to be an entity foreign to human beings, but no, the Holy Spirit is our higher Self, that is to say the symbol of all that is luminous and powerful, of everything divine. When a person receives the Holy Spirit, it is their own spirit that descends into them, their own spirit, which is their higher Self.
We are linked to our higher Self, which waits to enter and take possession of us, but it is we ourselves who, through our impurities, block the way. If we truly purify ourselves, if one day we achieve true sanctification, the Holy Spirit will descend into us, that is to say our own higher Self, and our higher Self can work wonders.*
