He has left a spark in every creature

We are creatures, and as all creatures, we need to receive elements from creation in order to live—food, water, air, sun, and so on—just as we also need to make use of all the riches matter can provide. Only the Creator is above this law: He has no need of anything outside Himself. Yes, but as He has left something of Himself in every living creature—a spark, a spirit that is of the same nature as Himself—each human being can also become a creator through the spirit.
Instead of always waiting for everything to come to us from the outside, we can act inwardly by means of our thought and our will, and thus tap into as many of the elements as we need to nourish ourselves physically and psychically. This is why the teaching of the Initiates has always been the teaching of the creator spirit, and those who accept this teaching will always be strong, free, and rise above all circumstances.*
