Nature
It is not there to satisfy the appetites and whims of human beings
We take everything we need for our existence from nature.* Even when we manufacture objects and products, one way or another we must use the materials we find in nature to do so.
Nature, however, is not there to satisfy the appetite and whims of human beings. If they continue to exploit nature without measure, to pollute and plunder it, they will first destroy themselves. Then, once nature has rid itself of human beings, it will regain the upper hand. Nature has resources, and is not so easily vanquished. If human beings do not strive to live and work in harmony with nature, nature will defend itself and may even end up eradicating them.
