Events

All have their reason, even if it is not yet known

June 16th 2012
Everything that happens is for a reason. The wise are convinced of it, and so nothing can deprive them of their light and joy. Even if they still find many events inexplicable, they know that one day they will have the explanation. It is true that in life we are often faced with facts and situations which at first appear incomprehensible and even absurd. But there is nothing more terrible or dangerous than concluding that life is devoid of meaning. The wise will never think, as so-called philosophers do, that there is nothing but random chance, chaos and absurdity. It is such pride to claim that what we are not yet able to understand has no meaning!
