Adam kadmon

The first being created by god

When the Kabbalah speaks of the creation of man, it is not speaking of human beings as they are today, but of Adam Kadmon, whose name means ‘primordial (Kadmon) man (Adam)’. Adam Kadmon is cosmic man, the first being created by God, whose body is made up of constellations and worlds. God is beyond the created universe, beyond the sephirah Kether.
Adam begins in Kether. Kether is the head of Adam Kadmon. Chokmah is his right eye and the right side of his face; Binah his left eye and the left side of his face. Chesed is his right arm; Geburah the left; Tiphareth the heart and solar plexus; Netzach the right leg; Hod the left leg; Yesod his sexual organs, and Malkuth his feet. Adam Kadmon is the archetype of which we are a cell, a reflection.*
