Promise

Be sure that you will be able to keep your word before making a promise

September 20th 2025
When you make a promise you must keep it. Even the Lord cannot release you from a promise. It is up to you, before you promise anything, to be sure that you will be able to keep your word. You mustn’t say, ‘Well, I might as well promise; it’s not binding.’ On the contrary, it is binding. On the physical plane, if you have not promised anything in writing, there may be no proof that would allow someone to condemn you, but your words are recorded and will continue to bear witness on the subtle plane. This recording is not a piece of paper, it is a talking picture.
Yes, you and your words have been recorded, and if you fail to keep your promise, divine justice—which has no need of papers to prove what you say or do—will condemn you as someone who cannot be relied on.*
