To be of benefit they should not be seen as a chore

Develop the habit of analysing yourself to see what obstacles and blocks you unconsciously create for yourself. If, for example, you view the exercises you need for your spiritual progress only as tiresome obligations, you will gain nothing from them, for your heart will not be in them. Be aware of what it is in you that stands in the way of those things that could help you. Each moment of the day, you have the opportunity to do exercises that will free you. Do not see those exercises as chores but as means of salvation. Little by little, a new life will flow, harmonizing and restoring all things within you. Stop putting up barriers along your own path; stop thinking that the exercises I show you that we do here are tedious, burdensome and useless. Do them with love and joy, and soon you will no longer be able to do without them.
