Embark on this path in order to serve the spirit

Many people are afraid to embark on the path of spirituality because they have the impression that they would be taking a blind leap into some kind of void. Of course, it is very dangerous to throw yourself into space unless you have grown wings. But those who launch themselves out into space because they are inspired by a genuine desire to serve the spirit will not fall: their wings will unfold and they will fly.
It is not by remaining rooted in matter, never rising to the heights that you will be spared from falling headlong―on the contrary. And if some people who choose the spiritual life do fall, it is because their motivation was not pure, disinterested and truly spiritual.
