Karma
Accept it but without fatalism, use it to evolve
April 27th 2026
The best way to avoid making your karma worse is to accept your destiny and to let it play out without trying to escape it. ‘But that is fatalism!’ you will say. No, fatalists accept whatever happens because they say ‘it is written in the stars’. So, they do not put up a fight, they let events lead them by the nose like animals, without trying to change things by dint of their will or their activities.
True disciples are not fatalistic, they decide to take matters into their own hands. They tell themselves, ‘I have made mistakes in the past, which I must pay for; I understand that. But are my past mistakes any reason to remain here stagnating and suffering? No. I shall now set to work on a great and noble undertaking that will not only wipe out all my debts, but will also lead me towards true liberation.’ What is the point of paying your karma if it means only suffering without ever evolving?
