Human soul
Its ideal is to become the betrothed of the spirit

When objects are placed near a fire, they heat up and sometimes melt or even vaporize. Similarly, we human beings are warmed when we expose ourselves to the rays of the spiritual sun, and this warmth, this love, is passed on to all our cells. We then feel an expansion within ourselves, as if the very matter of our bodies has become lighter, more subtle and more spiritual. Little by little, we begin to vibrate in harmony with the Spirit. And when the Spirit sees a being who sings and vibrates in unison with it, who understands it, it is drawn to them.
That is why the Spirit is depicted as a fiancé or bridegroom, going to his beloved. It is an image common to many different religions. The ideal of the human soul (whether of a man or a woman) is to become the betrothed of the Spirit, that is to say, to be inwardly receptive to the divine principle.
