Freedom
It depends on our degree of evolution
September 1st 2026
Are human beings free or are they subject to fate? People have argued over this question for thousands of years. It is a mistake to believe that all individuals are governed by the same laws. Those who, like animals, obey only their purely instinctive impulses will inevitably be subject to the fate predetermined by their own nature. On the other hand, those who have learned to master their instincts and passions escape fate and enter into the realm of Providence, of grace, to live in light and freedom.
We must not think that everyone is free or that everyone must suffer an inexorable fate. No, freedom depends on each individual’s degree of evolution. It is a person’s way of thinking, feeling or behaving that determines whether they fall into the clutches of fate, or else attract the blessings of Providence. So, in some areas people are bound by the laws of destiny, whilst in others, they escape these laws and are free—until the day they finally attain total freedom.
