Evolution

Each of us is obliged to perfect ourselves in a particular sphere

Human beings are not all in the same situation as regards their evolution. Some are here on earth just to resolve problems that are purely material: they must struggle to feed and clothe themselves, to earn money and put a roof over their heads. Others are materially well-off, but their difficulties lie in the realm of feelings: they must contend with jealousy, a suspicious nature, or depraved appetites in themselves. Still others meet with difficulties in the mental domain: they lack discernment and lucidity; they are hesitant, unsure of themselves, and do not know which way to turn.
Each of us is thus obliged to work to perfect ourselves in a particular sphere. It also happens that some people are called upon to work in all spheres at once; this is the case of beings who are still on a very low rung of the ladder of evolution or, on the contrary, of those who are very highly evolved and gifted.
