Centres and subtle bodies

Developing them into order to make contact with spiritual realities

In order to understand how the universe is built and how it functions, we need to discover the laws that governed its construction. Obviously we can never see the universe from the Creator’s point of view, but we can try to get as close to it as possible. And the only way to do this is to tear ourselves away from the weight and limitations of the earth, to distance ourselves from the world as we ordinarily see it.
Some beings have succeeded in doing so: through meditation, contemplation and ecstasy, they have managed to disassociate from their physical body and rise to the heights from which the whole edifice can be seen. Such experiences are comparable to those of astronauts who have travelled in outer space: they see the earth and the rest of the universe from quite a different perspective. Every human being possesses within themself the equivalent of the spaceships that carry astronauts into space. The Creator has given each one of us centres and subtle bodies that enable us to make contact with spiritual realities, just as our five senses enable us to make contact with physical realities. So, it is essential to know and learn to develop them.
