Destiny
A harsh teacher so that humans may surpass themselves
November 14th 2026
Artists are generally not psychically robust: they are very sensitive and emotional, and you must treat them with consideration and care. So many have ended their lives discouraged or broken, because they were neither accepted nor recognized! Rare are those who, faced with hardship, have been able to manifest the courage that is the mark of a truly great spirit.
We sometimes ask ourselves, ‘But why does fate (or Providence) treat the most remarkable, the noblest beings so severely? Why?’ So that they may surpass themselves and give the very best of themselves. If those around them behaved differently, if they praised them, encouraged them, and provided for all their needs, what would happen? They would become sluggish, weak and less luminous; they would not produce works as profound and as splendid. This is why Destiny works in this way; it is a harsh teacher, but you must understand and accept it.
