Divine idea

A light that, despite the obstacles, leads us to our heavenly homeland

What is essential is the direction in which you are going, the idea that is guiding your life and your work. If you are working for a divine idea, it will lead you towards light, peace and joy. But does anybody teach human beings about the blessings that could be theirs if they worked for a divine ideal? No, they are taught only how to earn money and satisfy their ambitions and their appetite for pleasure. Years and years go by before they discover that this is not true life—and by then it is a little late. So much time has been wasted!
Whereas those who go forward with a divine idea in their heads and hearts find that this idea casts light both on their goal and on the path that leads to it, and one day, in spite of all the obstacles, they sense that they have reached their heavenly homeland.
