Divine soul

Issued forth from god, it will go back to him

Our origin is in God; it is God who acts and works through us. And just as we come from God, so shall we go back to Him: one day we shall cease to exist as personal entities and be reabsorbed into God. Of course, some people will not care for this idea, seeing it as a threat to their individual freedom. But whether they like it or not, this is the reality.
So, instead of wasting your time on trivialities or brooding on the things that worry or anger you, think as often as possible about the divine soul which is you, but which is not yet wholly you, because you have not yet learned to unite with it. If you do this exercise frequently, you will gradually feel peace and joy—especially joy—come over you.
