Educators and parents
Some advice
October 4th 2012
At the end of the school year, it is rare for educators and teachers not to complain of exhaustion. It is not that dealing with children is so very tiring, but, if you see your job only as a means of earning a living, you will mainly experience its drawbacks. Granted, children are often difficult, but once you take up teaching as a career you have to take great care of them, love them and think of their future. And as children appreciate the attention they are given, after a time their attitude changes.
And this is true not only for educators but for parents as well. That’s right, whether you are a teacher or a parent, you should always find the right attitude towards the children if you are not to feel burdened or exasperated. In a way, don’t even think about them; think about yourself – try to be calmer, more patient, more thoughtful, more loving, and that way you will conserve a great deal of energy.
