It is essential for your positive development that you understand the connection between the pure life and clarity of spiritual vision. Only purity can give you the right outlook: you are always directed, warned and protected. As soon as your inner eye senses that you risk losing your way in dark, dangerous regions, it warns you to change direction.
If you feel hesitant or anxious, it shows that this eye, this consciousness, is saying to you, ‘Careful! If you go that way you will sink into a swamp – don’t go any further, retrace your steps.’ And then, when you have succeeded in putting the situation right, it tells you, ‘Now, that’s good; you are on the right path. Keep going; it will take you a long way up, all the way to the temple shining at the top of the mountain – the temple of the holy grail, the heavenly homeland.’
