Giving thanks
The words “thank you” ease all tension
Devote at least a few minutes each day to introducing harmony within you. Close your eyes while making an effort to free your mind of everyday worries, and direct your thoughts towards the heights, towards the sources of life that flood the entire universe. When you feel that you have stopped the flow of thoughts and images passing through you, say the words ‘thank you’ inwardly. These are the simplest words, yet they relieve all tension because in giving thanks, you attune yourself with heaven; you come out of the narrow circle of yourself and penetrate the peace of cosmic consciousness. Remain in this state as long as you can, and when you come back to yourself, you will feel that new and very precious elements have made their way into you: serenity, lucidity and strength.*
