Initiates

They exchange with human beings in the same way the sun exchanges with the earth

The sun sends out light and life which the earth, human beings, animals and plants receive. We absorb this life and, on both the physical and psychic planes, we then discard waste which the sun transforms and purifies and returns to us in the form of new life. This constant exchange between earth and heaven also exists between ordinary human beings and the Initiates. The Initiates gather the raw material of ordinary human beings, transmute it, and give it back to them in the form of spiritual treasures.
If we are serious in our desire to evolve, we must not complain about the faults and failings we see in others. Instead, we must work to transform these failings within ourselves so that we can give them back in the form of light. By working to transform the vices and weaknesses of those around us, we are working for the kingdom of God and, one day, the Initiates will accept us as disciples. They will tell us, ‘Come and join us, for we need more workers, and you are capable of helping us.’*
