Spiritual masters– they help us with our inner life

Most people readily admit that they need instruction when it comes to the practical, intellectual or artistic aspects of life, but they dismiss the idea that they have something to learn about how to conduct their inner life. This is a very dangerous attitude, for those who reject the experience and teaching of the spiritual masters cut themselves off from these living ‘books’ who could teach them the essential things they need to know. They should not be surprised if they eventually find themselves in a tight spot, and fate deals them a few blows.
It is very important to have a Master or to be in touch with the luminous spirits of the invisible world. When we link ourselves to these beings, whose experience is so much greater than ours, who have already solved so many problems, their knowledge becomes available to us and we can draw on it as the need arises. We live, we act, and something else comes and adds itself to our own experience, something higher and richer that helps us.*
