Connection between the phenomenon of waves and the inner life

Having discovered the phenomenon of waves and their propagation, scientists should have extended their conclusions to the phenomena of the inner life. ‘Is there any connection?’ you ask. Yes, a significant one, for our inner states are comparable to waves, and they too spread out in all directions. Our inner disorder creates disorder around us, just as our inner harmony creates harmony around us. No inner state remains confined to the person who experiences it.
Science is not yet absolutely scientific insofar as it limits its investigations to phenomena on the physical plane. It is time scientists decided to study the phenomena of the psychic realm and their consequences just as carefully. Only on this condition will science become truly worthy of its name.*
