The Telesma force
A powerful force that overcomes everything subtle
and penetrates everything solid
'Hermes Trismegistus said it quite clearly, therefore: there is a force that comes from the sun. And as the sun is going to be more and more important in the future, you must make haste to understand it and acquire a new consciousness in respect to it, so that you will be ready and prepared to receive the powerful waves flowing from it.
Behind the light of the sun are many other forces, and telesma is a force so potent that, as the Emerald Tablet puts it, ‘it overcomes every subtle thing and penetrates every solid substance.’ But this force cannot be truly effective on the physical plane unless it is ‘fixed’. It must become earth: ‘it descends to earth and unites in itself the force from above and below’, says Hermes Trismegistus. In its original state this force is fire, and fire must become earth. Fire is volatile, and earth is fixed.
And here we find the two terms, ‘volatile’ and ‘fixed’ which alchemists used so often. In other words, this very subtle force has to crystallize and condense and become solid matter. Only on this condition can it be all-powerful. This is what Hermes Trismegistus implies, but he veils the truth so well that one can read the Emerald Tablet hundreds of times and still not see it.
There, this is what the sun revealed to me. I know you find it hard to believe that the sun can really reveal things like that. But it really can! After all, it is the source of all things, so it is well able to reveal all mysteries.
Obviously, this work of bringing the force of telesma down to earth and condensing it in our own cells so that it becomes a tangible, material reality, is a gigantic task. It takes a very long time – years, even centuries – and a great deal of hard work.
This idea is expressed in the interlaced triangles forming the Seal of Solomon. The triangle pointing up is a symbol of matter, which must rise to a higher plane and grow increasingly subtle until it virtually disappears into infinity. The triangle which points downwards is a symbol of the spirit, which descends into the material, physical body and substitutes its own matter for the denser matter of the body.
Both triangles continue to exist, but in a different form. The apex of the first touches the heavens, and that of the second touches the depths of the subconscious. The combination of the two together produces perfection and fulfilment. Those who are able to understand will understand me.
Everything I say to you converges in this one idea: matter must be spiritualized, and the spirit must be materialized.'
