What is Meditation?

Slow down the hasty march of time

What is meditation

'But to live the moment present, they must learn to stop, to take a break.'

'So many men and women flee into the future, because they cannot bear their present!

But they gain nothing, because one day or another they will be forced to face the facts: this future that they imagined having no solid foundation, it is the void that they discover, and the anguish. Let them start by living well today where they have so much to taste, to see, to appreciate, to think about!

But to live the moment present, they must learn to stop, to take a break, to no longer let themselves be carried away by the succession of events and the inner states that these events create in them. Of course, life is just an uninterrupted flow, but you have to find a way to stop to put some order in yourself, to tune into more harmonious rhythms. And that is why meditation is so necessary.

To meditate is to slow down the hasty march of time in order to introduce a rhythm, a peace, a light that will leave their imprint for a long time to come.'
